Our story

Andrew and Andrea Couch are the husband and wife makers behind C Lazy 6 Saddlery. C Lazy 6 Saddlery was established in 2015 by Andrew and Andrea joined the team in the last few years.

Andrew is the craftsman behind the saddle making, leather goods, and rawhide braiding. He learned the crafts from makers Dean Hoppe and Levi Johnson(saddle making) as well as Randy Reiman and Wes Ferazzi (Rawhide braiding). Andrew still pursues education in these fields believing complacency is a maker’s greatest enemy.

Andrea is the maker behind the cinches, mecates, rein chains, and other fine wares offered here at C Lazy 6 Saddlery. On top of her time spent keeping the business moving along and in the shop making inventory as well as custom orders, she is a full time Mom to the next generation of makers, their son John.

Andrew and Andrea live on Andrew’s family ranch in Clyde Park, MT where they raise and train quarter horses, run Angus and Corriente cattle, giving them the opportunity to put all the gear they make to the test.
